First up the Town youngsters took on Brixington United against whom Town put on a good show, competing in all areas of the pitch, before eventually going down 4-0.

The second game saw Honiton tackle Brixington Blues and an excellent all-round show bagged them a richly deserved share of the spoils.

Throughout the contest there was some sterling defensive work from Matthew Costanilla and Dan Loosemore who managed to keep the lively Blues at bay.

There was also some tireless running in midfield from Becky Rose and Ben Spence.

Despite falling a goal behind deep into the second half, Town refused to let their heads drop and were rewarded with an equaliser when another excellent run and cross from Spence was turned in from close range by Arron Stevens.

Honiton can now look forward to next season where they step up to nine-a-side and play on a larger pitch.
