Archant

Madeira Ladies have had a busy time recently, writes Catherine King.

In the Yetton Plate they were edged out in a really close encounter against Clevedon, going down by just a single shot!

However, there was better news from the Lane Trophy with Madeira bagging a five shot victory over Plymouth.

A friendly engagement with neighbouring Budleigh saw Madeira return with an overall victory in what was a most enjoyable encounter.

Last, but certainly not least, a Foxlands Trophy match against Plymouth saw Madeira win on just the one rink.
