Archant

Exmouth Under-14s managed some action at the weekend.

The young Cockles made the short trip to Sandy Park to meet the Exeter Chiefs.

The kick-off at 2.45pm was greeted by the arrival of yet more heavy rain.

Fortunately the contest was played on the artificial surface!”

Exmouth won 22-33 with both Steven Slavov and Tom Cooke bagging a brace of tries and the fifth try was scored by Jack Silvester.

As well as his try double, young Cooke also slotted four conversions.
