Exmouth RFC are continuing their summer recruitment work and the latest two players to clock into the Imperial Ground both come from Honiton.

Isaac Dalton and Oli Cave are both 21-years-old and have been signed after impressing at trainings sessions they attended with the Cockles towards the end of last season.

Exmouth director of rugby Chris Wright said: “We are delighted to have signed two promising young players who are both extremely motivated to force their way into National League Rugby. With dual registered pair Luke Chapman and Dan Pullinger moving on to other clubs we have been looking for someone else to step up to the 1st XV alongside England South West Under-18s prop Matt Harris, who moves up from the colts. In Isaac, we have someone who comes highly recommended, and he certainly fitted in very well with the guys at a training session towards the end of the season.”

Wright continued: “With the playing retirement of Jon Fabian and the loss of Alex Brown to National one newcomers Hartpury College, we are also delighted to welcome Oli Cave to the Imperial Ground. He is well known to many at the club already having played for coaches Jon Hill and Jon Fabian at Exeter College. He has also played with the likes of Nigel Berry, Dave Bargent, Jack Fahy, Ali Hill and George Meadows in the past. Oli offers us options at fullback and in the centre and seems very keen to push hard for a first team place.’
