Exmouth RFC are back inaction at their Imperial Ground home this coming Saturday (August 11).

It’s a pre-season warm-up game against National League Two South side Redruth.

It will be the first opportunity for new Cockles head coach Steve Perry to take a look at his new charges in what ought to be a good work out against a good side.

Cockles’ director of rug by Nick Smith says: “WE are delighted that Redruth are coming up to play us and it’s a great opportunity for Steve [Perry] to take a look at the squad.

“Pre-season is progressing well and we have been seeing great numbers at each session and there seems little doubt that competition for places is going to be hot! “

He continued: “For the meeting with Redruth, which kicks off at 2pm, we will include some familiar faces, but Steve will also take the opportunity to look at some new players and a few of our up and coming young talent.”

Entry to the game is free to all and it is hoped a decent crowd will get along and give support.
