Exmouth made it seven wins from eight National Three (SW) matches with a 30-16 Imperial ground win in the Devon derby with Barnstaple.

Dale Sleeman, Stuart Lowe and George savage were the Cockles’ try scorers whilst Andrew Powell slotted a pair of penalties and converted two of the tires.

The victory keeps the Cockles firmly in the top four.

They sit fourth with 34 points with only Newton Abbot (35), Weston-super-Mare (35) and London Irish (38), sitting above them.

Make sure of your copy of the Exmouth Journal (out next on Thursday, October 25) for a full match report and post match comment).
