Archant

The Exmouth Sea Angling Association presentation night held was held recently at Exmouth Town Football Club, writes Robert Pennells.

The magnificent array of trophies was organised and collated by Shauna Browning and Harry Gaddes did the honours on the night of presenting them.

An excellent finger buffet was provided by Shauna, Babs, Doreen, Harry Gaddes and Dave Fuller.

There was also a superb raffle with so many prizes donated by club members and a healthy sum of money was raised for the club via the raffle organized by Babs.

Brian ‘the Viking’ Reed took top honours in terms of the year’s awards.

The full list of winners is:

Coronation Cup (B Reed); Exe Cup (B Reed); Weldtec Challenge Shield (G Bowden); Junior Competition Shield (K Browning); Carnival Shield (M Richardson); Away Competition Trophy (S May); Christmas Fayre Trophy (A Browning); Des Dunn Memorial Shield (S Browning); RNLI Charity Shield (B Reed); RD Ison Ladies Cup (S Browning); Norman Cup (B Reed); Capstan Trophy (A Browning); Woolworth Cup (S May); Walburn Cup (B Reed); Tom Shephard Cup (P Rowe); Marshall-Lee Cup (G Bowden); Colston-Richardson Cup (M Pearce); Elston Trophy (B Reed); Tom Litton Cup (S Browning); Stan Langdon Cup (B Reed); Team League Cup (Norse Warriors); Ison Trophy (K Browning); Robesi Shield Jnr Angler (K Richardson); Fletcher Trophy (K Browning); Leslie D Wright Trophy (T Mcginty); Brian Aplin Memorial Shield (M Richardson); Puddicombe Cup (B Brockington and T Mcginty); Jacko Jackson Memorial Bowl(T Mcginty); Specimen League Cup (G Bowden); York House Cup (G Bowden).
