The Chestnut Appeal is looking for local football and rugby clubs to join their campaign in March and ‘Give Prostate Cancer the Boot’.
March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, an opportunity for everyone across the region to become informed of the most common cancer in men.
There are 37,000 prostate cancer cases diagnosed each year in the UK, with 10,000 deaths.
And the Chestnut Appeal need your help to make a real difference to the lives of all men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families.
If you run a local football or rugby team then please help raise awareness of prostate cancer and funds for the Chestnut Appeal by joining the campaign.
To find out more and help ‘Give Prostate Cancer the Boot’ contact David on 01752 792736 or email chestnut.events@nhs.net
