Pond strikes a beauty in Brixington Blues Under-11 cup win

Jake Pond struck a goal to grace any level of the game as Blues Under-11s eased their way into the last four of the cup.
Blues led 2-1 at the break, but took charge in the second half to deservedly win.
Joshua Hockings, Lucas Feduzi and Joe Evans with a pair, were the other Blues scorers.
Blues coach Kevin Hockings said: “It was a close affair in the first half. Once young Jake (Pond) struck that sweet strike of his, we took charge to deservedly go through.”
In the last four Blues will now meet Sidmouth Warriors in a game set for Ottery St Mary FC on Tuesday, March 19.
