Police Social Club A hold the last unbeaten record in the Exmouth Snooker League

Police Social Club A are the only unbeaten team so far in the Exmouth Snooker League after the latest round of matches.

Carl Rowsell (78-60), George Webster (69-59), Rob Pow (56-51) and Pete Abrahams had four close quarter wins against the Police C to the sole loss to Trevor Haylock (41-27).

They followed this up with a 3-2 win at the home of the Conservative Club, where the defending champions are yet to win a match thus far. Mike Delahaye (51-25) and Carl Rowsell (60-22) had to wait for Pete Abrahams’ final frame win (64-30) after Tim Parker (52-37) and Dan Brown (70-41) drew level.

East Budleigh are third in the latest table with four wins on the Police B table, through Graham Ward (72(28)-7), Alan Farrant (90-39), Barry Bentley (52-21) and Kev Luxton (90-62). Frank Kelsey (79-42) denied them maximum points. Frank was winning again (56-34) against the Police C along with Terry Merrick (60-47). They were level after four frames, but victory was denied by John Anderson (78-34), Trevor Haylock (42-12) and the final frame decider from John Parrott (73-63).
