Three Exmouth Harriers were at the latest 3km Series event at Exeter Arena on Monday evening.

In what were chilly conditions there was a splendid performance from John Perratt (veteran man over 70) who can be delighted with his time of 13:21 the day after competing in the Fulfords Five Miler.

Perratt was fourth in the ‘D’ race. In the ‘B’ race Andrew Johnson (over 45) was 16th in 11:45, but this race was just to put a little variety into his preparations for the Paris Marathon!

Dave Eveleigh (over 55) was a little disappointed in his time of 12:50 for eleventh in the ‘C’ race, his first competitive outing since a 5km in the New Zealand spring in November.
