Members of the Exmouth Sea Angling Association are back in East Devon after their ‘Isle of Wight stinger hunt ‘ trip, writes Bob Pennells.

There were four days of first class fishing that produced catches of bass, ray, plaice, wrasse, flounder, smoothound and single obligatory dog fish.

Taffy Pearce landed the top ray of the trip with a catchy of 11lbs and 6ozs.

The best of the rest was the ray landed by Brian The Viking Reed with his catch weighing in at 11lbs and 5ozs.

Both fish were caught using mackerel fillet and puller rigs.
