Colaton Raleigh 9, Chagford 1
Colaton Raleigh returned to winning ways in spectacular style despatching the visitors in clinical fashion.
For the first time since May, the regular midfield combination of Damian Armes and
Jake Boyland were back in harness, this after injury had denied the pair an earlier start together.
With Armes and Boyland pulling the strings it was no surprise that Raleigh chalked up a nap hand of first half goals by which time the game was well and truly over.
Player-boss Riki Pitter and Adrian Parr both helped themselves to hat-tricks, with Mark Pavey scoring a pair and Damian Armes was also on target.
Boss Pitter said: “It was great to see Damo (Armes) and, Man of the Match, Jake (Boyland) back in the engine room together, they made a big difference. We still have to work on keeping clean sheets, and hopefully, we will get that right at home to
Beacon Knights in the Devon Senior Cup 2nd round this Saturday”.
