The Budleigh Bowling Club in-house competitions are underway.

Early winners include Joan Shaw and Audrey Taylor who have booked their place in the 1st round of the Pairs.

There are some very interesting matches to come especially in the Otter Cup which is the trophy contested each year by Novice players in a singles format.

The Budleigh Ladies enjoyed a friendly match against Feniton that was also a mighty close encounter.

Budleigh won by three shots which was mainly down to the exceptional game played by Dawn Graham’s rink that included Janet Mitchell, A. Taylor and Bunty Hudson.

Another recent fixture was a thoroughly enjoyable fixture with the DCLIBA Patrons. This was a match won by the visitors on both rinks. Monthly social events and weekly roll-ups ensure all members enjoy the benefits of indoor bowls and any prospective new players are always made very welcome at the club.
