Defending champions of the Exmouth Snooker League, Number Nine B top the latest table following one victory and one defeat.

Their latest success came at the Police Social Club B with Russell Frame 107 (31, 24, 24) - 65, Jonathon Duck 84-40, Tim Thorn 49-45, Dave McCarthy 48-31 and John Sharland (winning his game via a walk-over), taking all five points.

At the Number Nine A, Tim Thorn 46-43 and Russell Frame 87-43 drew level with Iain Callander 72-53 and T Parker 68-18, only to see the decider lost to Dan Brown 78-44.

Police C are level on points with the leaders, but having played two more matches, slip to second place.

Ray Sturman 65-56, Steve Spinner 71-38, John Evens 76-29 and John Parrott 57-36 were denied the outright lead by Frank Kelsey 56-37 of the Police B.
