The New Deal comprising of Terry Cannon, Nigel Jackson-Mack, Alan Swift and Bob Harriott) beat TEMP 17-3 to retain the Shield for the third year running.

Refourmed completed their campaign with a 15-5 success over Luce Cannons to finish in the runners-up berth.

Shelagh’s Acolytes ended their effort in great form with a 20-0 victory over The Vindtraps which saw them into a third place finish in the table.

In Division Two, Jjaber comprising of Jackie Hardcastle, Barbara Mellor, James Homer and Maureen Smith, beat Mabajo IV 15-5 and that conformed their final place as Divisional Champions.

The Mob won 19-1 against J3S to finish the term in second place and Eventuals, despite losing 15-5 to JAWS, took third place in then final standings.

These monthly events during the winter have been popular for twenty years now, leading to hard fought yet friendly rivalry.
