Budleigh Salterton travel to Bradninch tomorrow (Saturday, August 4) looking to build on last Saturday’s win over Sandford.
Skipper Joel Murphy, who was captain at Bradninch before rejoining Budleigh three years ago, can see some light at the end of the tunnel.
“Our young bowling attack was excellent against Sandford – and all our frontline batsmen came off on the same day,” said Murphy.
“We showed we can win – now we have to keep doing it.”
A double boost for Budleigh is the return of pace bowler Charlie Morris, the Devon quickie offered summer terms by Worcestershire next season, and spin-bowling all-rounder James Hudson.
Bradninch are set to be without influential skipper Gary Chappell who was released from hospital earlier this week.
