Four Exmouth Harrier members’ who had competed in the previous day’s Parrett Trail relay travelled to West Cornwall for this season’s first Westward League Cross Country fixture, writes Dave Eveleigh.

On a somewhat uninspiring course at Redruth, Adam Miller was the only male and he ran a very level paced race to end up 30th of 119 runners, covering the five miles in around 32 minutes.

There were though three female athletes from the club, meaning they closed in a team.

Over a three mile course and in a field of 66 Moira Glen finished 20th in 21:31 and was third female over 45, Carly Audritt was 31st in 23:38 and Dawn Teed (also Over 45) was 51st in 26:02.
