Maureen lands hole-in-one on fourth at East Devon Golf Club.

Maureen Gray had a round to remember last week at the East Devon Golf Club.

Maureen was playing in the Ladies’ Second Qualifying event of the year when she teed off at the fourth and promptly saw the ball roll across the green and drop in for a hole-in-one!

A jubilant Maureen then treated to the ladies playing that day to a glass of celebratory wine in the clubhouse.

In the event itself it was the junior girls who led the way in the Silver Division with Emily Morey taking first place with a superb round that left her with 43 points.

Maddie Stone came second with 38 and Gill Davies finished third with 35.

In the Bronze Division Elaine Curel came first with 37 pts whilst the runner-up was Angela Ward with 34 pts and the Ladies Captain Shirley Pressey finished third with 34 points after count-back was called into play.
