Madeira staged the 2012 finals of the Bowls Devon men’s Top Club competition.

Despite dreadful weather the superb surface allowed play to continue and it saw Shaldon defeat New Plymouth to land the title.

In the semi-finals Shaldon edged past Kings 3-2 whilst New Plymouth matched that score with victory over Exonia.

In the final Shaldon were convincing 4-1 winner to set off the post-match celebrations.
