The first games were played on May 28, with two different outcomes.

Madeira B team won their match against Plymstock A 51-34, while Madeira B team lost their game against Den 33-45.

Pat Harris and Annette Flockhart beat clubmates, Norma Cureton and Jean Rainton in the County classic pairs (over 70’s).

The club handicap and three wood competitions early rounds were played over the past week.

Results to follow as the games progress.

In the Devon Ladies Pairs, Madeira players were definitely in the majority, however only two pairs have succeeded into the section semi-quarter and quarter final on June 30. Congratulations to Christine Macaulay and Angie Fish and Sue Harriott and Liz Smerdon.
