Macaulay and Denner defeat Orchard and Rainton in all-Madeira National Pairs clash .

Madeira ladies had a successful week with a brace of friendly match victories.
First up they saw off Isca and then they defeated Honiton.
In the National mixed pairs Janine and Mike Orchard won 21-11 at Mid Devon where they were taking on Beryl Willis and R Workman
In an in-house match in the national singles competition there was a 21-11 victory for Jan Roberts over Catherine King.
There was also an all-Madeira draw in the national pairs and this saw Christine Macaulay and Angela Denner win 21-16 against Janine Orchard and Jean Rainton.
