Lympstone Boxing Club’s top Junior Harry Webb racked up his fifth win in a row on Saturday at St Johns Community Hall Barnstaple, writes Neil Parsons.

Webb featured in a return match with Local favourite Liam Laird.

These two had met at Exmouth Pavilion in October year when Webb won a unanimous points win, but the Barnstaple club felt their boxer had been hard done by and challenged Webb to a return match in North Devon!

The result was never in doubt from the first bell as Webb repeatedly speared Laird with three-punch combinations and skill fully catching Lairds punches on his high guard.

By the third round there was only going to be one winner as Webb completely dominated the contest and ran out a very comfortable points winner with scores of 11-4, 11-3 and 17-4 from the Judges.

Next yup for the Lympstone boxer is a December 1, visit to the Ricky Hatton Accademy in Manchester for a training session with Ricky Hatton.
