Exe III 1, Honiton Hornets 1
Honiton Hornets began strongly winning a short corner within the first five minutes.
Exe struck back strongly and had most of the possession in the oppositions half, gaining a series of short corners, one which saw Sarah Langworthy beating the goalkeeper to give Exe a 1-0 lead.
After the break Honiton came more into the contest and deservedly levelled.
Both teams then created, and missed, chances.
The match finished with a tense short corner to Exe which, if converted, would have given Exe the win.
With every player in the opposing half, the ball went off before anything could be made of it, resulting in a well fought 1-1 draw.
