Colaton Raleigh 7, Clyst Valley 1
A bumper crowd at Newton Poppleford saw Colaton Raleigh power their way into the next round of the Bill Slee Cup with an emphatic victory.
Billy Parr was in a clinical mood as he notched a treble.
The opening goal arrived from a Brett Newberry corner with Mark Tett the scorer.
Parr’s hat-trick was followed by 30-yard volley from Tony Cox, a solo effort by the outstanding Mark Pavey, and a penalty from Scott Newberry completed the scoring.
New signings, Ben Hawker and Ben Squance both acquitted themselves very well.
On Saturday Raleigh entertain Sidmouth Town in a Fresha League Division Two game (3pm).
