Honiton Hornets Under-8s powered their way to a win double to maintain their unbeaten run this season, writes John Clarke.

Hornets chalked up 4-1 and 7-0 victories.

Jack Kennel stood out with his outstanding contribution across both gamwes that saw him net six times.

The other Hornets scorers were Tom Burroughs (2), Freddie Clarke, Benjamin Taylor and Jake Johnson.

Assistant manager Mark ‘Flash’ Russel said: “I am delighted with the commitment and performance of all the players involved, they continue to show game on game improvement and, most importantly, are clearing enjoying what they are doing.”
