The Madeira week finished with the Jubilee Cup Drive between the ladies’ and the men’s captains, writes Jenny Smith.

In order to play, everyone who signed up the teams was mixed, with the ‘Red Hot Mamas’ playing the ‘Moody Blues’.

It was a very enjoyable game but there was a cup (and Prosecco) to be won! Two teams were ahead of the rest having won all three of their games and, in the end, a difference of just two shots decided the winners. The Jubilee Cup winners with a shot difference of plus 13 were Vic Doidge, Carol Hyett and Margaret Mahon. Well done, to them. The match also raised £12 for the Captains’ Charity.
