Twelve pairs played in the third part of the Summer Championship at Exmouth Bridge Club last week, writes Carla Pickering.
The N/S winners on the night were Shelagh Hughes and Chris Thomas with a score of 57.92 per cent.
Sheila Lennard partnered by Liz Runwals playing E/W notched up 65.83 per cent and this score puts them into the Championship lead currently.
However, having played in only one session they must play in the remaining three legs to qualify, one of which must be played with a different partner.
