Ottery St Mary 0, Lympstone Rangers 7
Lympstone Rangers Under-11s made light of a recent lack of action by powering to an emphatic win to keep their promotion push on track.
Lewis Hillier opened the scoring when he tucked home a Billy Phillips corner.
The lead was doubled when, following a neat passage of passing initiated by central midfielder Jack Bungay ended with Ryan Bowyer volleying the ball home from the edge of the area.
The Otters rallied, but some solid tackling from defender Rudy Evans and Jory Salter meant that Rangers keeper Jamie Crossman was rarely threatened.
Rangers continued to dominate with Sam Phillips orchestrating and it was not long before Hillier struck again to make it 3-0 at half-time.
After the break Ryan Bower took over from Jamie Crossman in goal and the latter soon made his presence felt in the centre of the pitch with some clever passing to Thomas Hewett and Billy Phillips on the two wings. It was from this source that Phillips struck goal number four.
Hillier completed his hat-trick after which Thomas Hewett struck the fifth and Hillier finished what he started with his fourth of the game to complete the scoring.
Late on some timely tackles from Ronnie Foster and Ashley Drake ensured that Rangers saw the game out without conceding.
