Harriers’ Musgrove fifth in Umborne Ug race

Over in deepest East Devon last Saturday there was an Exmouth presence at the Umborne Ug off-road race, where 84 entrants lined up, writes Dave Eveleigh.

Mike Musgrove was fifth overall and first Man Age 45-49, in 45:08 for the approximate distance of 10 kilometres.

Ellie Sutcliffe finished 11th overall in 45:08. Ellie was first woman, but was closely followed in by Axe Valley Runner Hannah Bridger.

Exmouth’s own Hannah (Bown) was third female and 17th overall in 51:25.

In the Fun run at Ugborne Cameron Bryson and a quartet of younger Bowns (Aidan, Niah, Holly and Ellis) all finished under the Exmouth Harrier’s flag.
