Brixington Soccer School was established in January of last year with the emphasis on teaching young children the basics of football.
The concept has grown considerably and now has 35 children registered with the club from the age of four to ten.
The soccer school operates as a voluntary club, but in its short time has become affiliated with the Devon FA and now has three FA Level 1 Coaches and a host of volunteers providing various support.
Chairman and coach David Clarke and says: “It would not be possible for us to operate without the wonderful support we receives from Brixington Primary School who provide the playing facilities. We are also very fortunate to have so many willing helpers, amongst them my wife Vicky and committed coaches like Lee Bache, Paul Brown and Andy Waiton who provide coaching support. We are also indebted to BMobile who have been fantastic in providing sponsorship for us to purchase a brand new kit for the entire soccer school. I would also like to thank Duck and Run Cricket Supplies of Paignton for supplying the kit.”
