On Saturday, eleven Harriers ran the Otterton Reindeer Run, a 10k race of two halves, writes Cathy Newman.

The first half is very hilly, with short sharp hills and long drags, and the second half flat and running parallel to the River Otter, passing Otterton before crossing the river and running back in over fields.

Two ladies made the top ten in the ladies’ field - Alice Kelly in fourth position and Lisa Hatchard in ninth.

The first Exmouth Harriers male was Jon Garrity in 14th position in the male field.
