East Budleigh began a new Macron Devon and Exeter League Division Three with an excellent 5-1 victory at North Tawton, writes Mark Auton.

Budleigh controlled proceedings from the start and drove home their superiority with a four goal burst in the second half.

New signing Tom Chudley netted in the first half as the sides went in level at the break.

Goals from Steve Hitchcock, captain Dan Reynolds and a brace from Liam West completed the win.

Man of the Match for a Budleigh side who host Lympstone this Saturday at Vicarage Road (3pm), was Liam Matthew.
