Exmouth Town conitnued their unbeaten start to the new season with a victory in Exeter against a useful University side in the Throgmorton Cup.

Ben Shepherd added two more to his growing tally of goals this season as Exmouth Town bagged a place in the next round of the Throgmorton Cup.

Hosts University did not make it easy for high-flying Town who had to come from behind and did not seal victory until midway through the second half.

They will now entertain Axminster Town in then next round on Saturday, October 20.
