Raleigh slipped to a Division Two defeat despite scoring first.

Adrian Parr fired them ahead in the 11th minute and then Riki Pitter twice served up crosses that simply needed putting in the back of the visitors net.

On 30 minutes Dawlish levelled with a superb strike from fully 30-yards. Moments later they struck again with a free-header from a free-kick launched from near the half-way line!

Colaton Raleigh dominated possession in the second half, but individual errors cost them a further two goals before Parr bagged a late consultation.

Colaton Raleigh boss Riki Pitter said, “despite the score line, this was our best performance of the season, and I cannot fault the commitment and passion of the lads. I am proud of all of them. It is early days yet, and we will regroup and come back stronger.”

On Saturday Colaton Raleigh travel to Bickleigh for a league game (3pm).
