Archant

Otterton will face Perry Street League opposition in the Devon Intermediate Cup, East Devon Area final.

That’s because Milwey Rise, who sit fourth in Division Three of the Perry Street League, defeated Fresha League Division Five outfit Sampford Peverell 7-1 in the semi-final last weekend.

The Otters were successful against opposition from that league in the last round as they beat Farway United who currently languish in the bottom three of the Fourth Division.

The area final has yet to be given a date.

On Saturday Otterton go into a second meeting this season with Tedburn St Mary.

When the pair met in Mid Devon back in September the Otters were beaten by the odd goal in seven.

That was one of just four Tedburn league victories this term.

A home win at Stantaway Playing Fields on Saturday could see the Otters into a top three berth on Saturday night.
