Exmouth Town Reserves were 1-0 winners in their Macron League Premier Division game at Beer Albion.
What made the team’s victory all the more impressive was the fact that they travelled across East Devon to the Furzebrake home of the Fishermen missing eight regulars!
A first-half strike from Jon Nott saw Town’s second string to victory, their sixth in seven league game this term.
A battling performance from Brad Evans saw him land the Town Man of the Match award.
Next up for the Town second team is another Macron League top flight game on Saturday (October 21) when they travel to table-toping Elmore who have won all seven of their matches so far, scoring 39 goals in the process.
