East Budleigh 0, Bow AAC 6

Again missing key players East Budleigh slipped to another big defeat against a very good visiting side, writes Mark Auton.

Despite trailing 3-0 at the break Budleigh’s defending didn’t help their cause as Bow took full advantage.

The third quarter of the game saw Budleigh steady the ship; Tim Whiteoak and 16-year-old Aaron Denny doing their best to stamp their authority on the game.

Unfortunately, the final ball or cross never came and the away side went on to add a fourth.

As Budleigh heads dropped more gaps appeared with two further goals added.

This Saturday Budleigh have a chance to re-group with a Devon Senior Cup tie against Alphington and will hopefully have a full squad to choose from for the 2pm kick-off.
