Lympstone’s footballers amidst a busy end of season schedule

PUBLISHED: 10:28 24 April 2014 | UPDATED: 10:28 24 April 2014

The past week has been a hectic one of Lympstone who have had to negotiate four games in nine days.

However, the Lympets are clearly made of strong stuff for they banked ten points out of a possible 12 in the period!

They began the sequence with a Saturday 3-2 win over Newton St Cyres followed by a midweek 2-1 win over Topsham Town. Next up a swift return with Newton St Cyres ended in a 0-0 draw before an Easter Monday 3-2 home win over Halwill.

Their busy schedule goes on as they now face seven games in 21 days to conclude their campaign.

After that it’s a well earned break cheering England on in the World Cup for the Lympets.
