Exmouth United Under-8s had two big triumphs in matches against Stoke Hill and Whipton Youth.

First up against Stoke Hill United started brightly with Lewis Fulls and Carrick Howard linking up well prior to Finley Clifford opening the scoring.

Skipper Joel Knott took centre-stage and his play-making skills opened up the Exeter side once more for newcomer Adrian Brown to double the lead with a strike from 15-yards.

These were the pick of the goals and were added to by five more as United ran out 7-0 victors.

Whipton Youth were the next opposition and they asked a question or two of the United back line in which Harry Kiflu Reynolds was a calming influence.

Carrick Howard’s inventiveness saw the ball delivered into the area for young Clifford to once again open the scoring.

Lewis Fulls doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort.

The Exeter side struck back with a goal of their own before United once again stamped their class on the contest to score four more and win 6-1.

Over the two games the stand-out contributions came from the pair of Howard and Fulls who’s wing play delighted all present.
