Alphington Jets 8, Brixington Blues 2

Brixington Blues Under-14s gave another very good account of themselves before falling to defeat at title chasing Alphington in their latest Exeter and District Youth League game.

Blues battled back from two down to level with Charlie Heaton and former Alphas player Tom O’Shea netting and looked set to go into half-time all square only for the home side to net just before the interval.

It was a different story after the break with the Alphas Charlie Khan netting four of his sides five second half goals to finish with six in the game.

Jason Mann had a fine game on the right wing for the Blues.
