It needed a half-time ‘discussion’ led by boss Ian Horne that saw Brixington United Under-15s eventually comfortably seal a last eight berth in the Exeter and District Youth League Cup.
The Horne debate had the desired effect for his team scored five times in the second half to put the visitors to the sword.
Jack Wall scored the late first half goal that separated the sides at the break.
In the second half Max Howard struck a brace and the other goals were scored by Cameron Brown, Ed White and Jack Wall.
United keeper Alex Taylor was deserving of his latest clean sheet.
The three stars of the show for United were back three Jay Jackson, Sam Carmody and Tom Green.
