Budleigh Salterton have gone top of the South West Peninsula League Eastern Division.

The upwardly mobile Greenway lane side were 1-0 winners at University thanks to a second half goal from Pete Grover.

The Robins have now played three more games than second placed Newton Spurs and third placed Axminster whilst fourth placed Exmouth Town have four games in hand and sit just three points behind.

However, it is a measure of the progress at Greenway Lane this season that the Robins sit top heading it not he final weeks of October.
