Brixington Blues Under-10s enjoyed a goal-fest with no fewer than 31 goals in games against Crediton Saints and Crediton Youth.

The opening game was against the Saints and the die was cast in the opening minutes Joshua Hockings opened the scoring with the first of his five goal haul.

Joe Evans struck four times, Lucas Fuduzi weighed in with a hat-trick and the other three were scored in the second half by defenders Jason Farrant (2) and Jake Pond.

Saints battled well but had no answer for then power and pace of the Blues who sealed an emphatic 16-0 win.

Next up the Blues took on Crediton Youth who had an early chance to take the lead from the penalty spot. However Joe Blyth had other ideas and made a superb save to keep the spot kick out.

In a swift response Blues were awarded a penalty at the other end, but the Crediton Youth keeper saved both the initial shot and the following re-bound!

However, once young Lucas Fuduzi opened the scoring then flood gates opened again.

Joshua Hocking rattled in another five to take his morning’s tally to ten! However the scoring honours in the second game were taken by Joe Evans with a six goal, haul.

Defender Jake Pond got another goal and the unfortunate Crediton side scored two own goals, though they were rewarded with a late consolation as Blues landed a 15-1 win.
