Newly formed Exmouth Town Under-13s came from behind to win an action-packed game.

After falling behind to an early goal Tommy Evans levelled after a fine run from Connor Crowley.

Town went ahead when Callum Meldrum finished neatly inside the box, after being set up by Joe Stevens.

Brad Winteridge pulled off a string of fine saves but despite some solid defending from Man of the Match Peter Griffin and fellow defenders Sam O’Dell, Joel Rawe and Leo Dawkins, the visitors got the equaliser on the break with 10 minutes left on the clock.

With seconds to go Towns battling Aaron Holwell played the ball to Evans who then turned and shot the ball into the bottom corner of the goal to snatch a welcome victory.
