Exmouth Town will be without the services of Ben Wooley for Wednesday night’s meeting with Teignmouth Town at Southern Road (7.30pm).

Wooley is unavailable through work whilst there’s a big doubt over the fitness of the evergreen Phil Everett who is nursing a hamstring problem.

Town boss Richard Pears says: “We will need to be at our best for Teignmouth are one of those side who, on their day, are very capable of giving anybody a slap. The mood in our camp is superb – why would it not be after the run we have been on – there’s an air of confidence throughout the team with every one of the squad champing at the bit to start. They can’t all start, so when we do get the odd absentee it means a shift for someone else and the entire squad is made up of players more than capable of doing any number of jobs for the team as the opposition or pitch and weather conditions dictate.”

Teignmouth were 3-1 winners at Sidmouth on Saturday and are unbeaten in two since a defeat at Alphington in late January.
