Exmouth Town were left frustrated again last weekend when their scheduled match at Elmore was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, writes John Dibsdall.

Town will now travel to Horsdon Park, Tiverton for a midweek game on Wednesday, April 23.

Town hope to be back in action at Southern Road this Saturday when they entertain Cornish side St Austell in a South West Peninsula League, Premier Division fixture.

Kick-off on Saturday is 3pm.

In the corresponding away fixture Town came from a goal down at half time to win 2-1 despite playing the second half with only ten men following the dismissal of Kai Fisher.

Ace High scored the equaliser and then gained a penalty which Dan Boere calmly converted to secure the three points.

Like Town’s last opponents, Newquay ‘the Lily-Whites’ have recently appointed a new management team and put eight goals past Liskeard in their last league outing. They also have a good away record with six wins on the road this season and are currently ninth in the table seven points behind Town.
