Exmouth Town set up Wednesday night friendly with Fresha League champions Feniton

Exmouth Town boss Richard Pears has quickly set up a midweek friendly after his side’s disappointing defeat to Newquay on Saturday.

Town will entertain Fresha League Premier outfit Feniton at Southern Road (7.30pm).

Both teams suffered disappointment last weekend with Town having their proud season-long unbeaten home run ended by the Cornish side who returned to the Duchy with a 2-0 success.

Meanwhile, Feniton, the reigning Fresha League champions, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw at Hatherleigh.

The Fresha side will be able to ease central defender Ali Sawyer back in the Southern Road game.

Sawyer has been out for a time with aback injury.

Also back for the Fresha side will be Charlie Selley who missed the draw in North Devon as he had only arrived home the day before from a visit to Thailand and was suffering from jet-lag!
