Archant

Exmouth Town were given a massive boost in their bid to land the South West Peninsula League title without even kicking a ball in anger on Monday night.

That’s because title rivals Parkway lost 1-0 at Bodmin Town.

That result means that, although the Plymotun side remain top of the table, a point better off than the Southern Road men, they do now only have one game in hand.

Adding serious spice to the mix Town entertain parkway this Saturday when Southern Road should see its biggest attendance the season for what many pundits will call a title decider!

Both teams have action before the Saturday showdoqwn. Town travel to Elmore and Parkway host Witheridge with both games being played on Wednesday night.

The table (top eight) after the Monday night games.
