Exmouth Town will be hoping the incessant storms we have been experiencing will have relented and their scheduled home game this Saturday with Newquay goes ahead, kick off at Southern Road is 3pm, writes John Dibsdall

Inactive for the last four weeks, Town will be looking to repeat the second half performance in their last match when they scored five goals against Tavistock without reply. Coincidentally that was also the score line when Town made their first ever visit to Newquay back in mid-September with a hat-trick from Dan Boere and goals from Lloyd Gardner and Ace High.

Town are currently third in the SWPL Premier Division two points behind leaders Witheridge, but with two games in hand.

Newquay are unbeaten in their last three league games since they appointed a new management team and have won two, drawn three and lost five of their away games this season.

Town have signed forward Richard Griffin from Godolphin Atlantic.

Richard was an integral part of their squad that last year won the West Division title and whilst he will be making his league debut he has guested for Town in friendly matches over the last couple of seasons.

Town have also re-signed goalkeeper Chris Wright who left Town to go to Tiverton two seasons ago and is currently playing for Bridgwater Town in the Calor Southern League.
